Schedule Implementation & Training Meetings

Why Schedule These Meetings

  • Getting off to a fast start is critical to success
    • Ideally – complete all 5 meetings in 5 weeks.
  • Scheduling the meetings puts deadlines everyone’s tasks and activities
  • Getting the meetings on everyone’s calendars “saves the date” against later events.

Meeting 1: Implementation Team Orientation – ASAP

  • 60-90 Minutes
  • Goal: Make sure Implementation Team is aligned and clear about responsibilities.
  • Who Attends:
    • All Implementation Team members
    • Arena Success Group Guide – usually via remote conference

  • Agenda
    • Captain explains why you are using Arena Success Group to create an Organization Success System.
      • Problems you plan to solve & will be accountable for.
      • Performance or Output you plan to change & will be accountable for.
      • Why your chose Arena Success Group
    • Captain Introduces everyone in the room (Usually this means meeting the ASG Guide)
    • Captain Explains Expectations
      • All Members
        • Come Prepared To Each Implementation Meeting –
          • Review the Guide for each meeting
          • Complete all Prerequisites for each meeting
        • Use the CREATE YOUR OSS – STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
          • Watch all videos on all the linked pages.
          • Understanding is “Why” is very important.
        • Read “Implementer Emails” from Arena Success Group or You Guide
          • All ASG emails are recommended but not required
          • Implementer Emails are required.
      • Captain explains role of the Keeper
        • This is the “Manager” of the OSS.
        • Responsible for actually completing the plan and decisions of the Captain
        • IMPORTANT: Captain expects everyone on the team to give this person their full support and will enforce that expectation! 
        • Announce who is the Keeper if that is not already clear
        • Deliver each of these verbally and in writing if possible
          • Explain why you chose that person and what exactly they are responsible for.
          • Any particular performance improvements or outcomes they are accountable for.
      • Captain then goes to each team member
        • Deliver each of these verbally and in writing if possible
          • Explain why you chose that person and what exactly they are responsible for.
          • Any particular performance improvements or outcomes they are accountable for.
    • Schedule and/or Verify all remaining meeting dates & locations if not already completed

Meeting 4: WorkMaster: 4 hours Date:_____________ – Creating & Using Objectives
